I make packs of sounds from games, either by dumping all samples with special programs or by data-mining them out of the source binary and resampling it to good quality. Packaging may vary from all sounds streamed one after another to named separate sounds to numbered separate sounds, depending on how lazy i was and what kind of ROM i was ripping. Note that sliced-up sounds may contain not all the sounds from the stream dumps - you want the stream version if you want ALL the data from the game.
